I truly love all different kinds of art! I am continually amazed and inspired by the creativity of the many artists' here in Bellingham, and around the world.

To me, art is about personal expression, and the joy of making. My mom has been, and still is, my biggest influence. She exposed me to everything from thread to rocks, and we are still exploring new artistry today. Although I love to sew, crochet, knit, etc., embroidery photo art has become a passion for me since 2003 when I began to teach myself to digitize. I love the three dimensional and fibrous addition that embroidery brings to a photograph. Early on I concentrated on photos of people and pets, but as of late I have enjoyed stitching landscapes of the photos that I take on my walks through the Boulevard Park and downtown Bellingham.
