As a painter, I use mixed media, acrylic paints, pops of color, metallic and other specialty additives, texture and movement, to bring life to art visions as I imagine them. For inspiration, all I need to do is take a walk outside, go on a camping trip, watch my animals move, or just daydream, looking inward. I find unending sources of inspiration in the everyday world around me and from conversations with family, friends and acquaintances, and requests people make for commissioned works. At times my work has been described as whimsical, dreamscapes, a unique style that brings an interesting depth and luminescence to life on canvas, and that captures personality and character. I have been told that my paintings “make people happy”.
