Felicia paints atmospheric and abstract (oil) landscapes. Inspired by the mountainous and coastal regions of the Pacific Northwest, her work has been described as ethereal and calming. Felicia’s artistic journey began with writing then migrated to visual poetry. After years of self-study in photography and visual composition, the shape of her expression turned to painting. Felicia uses pallet knives as her primary tool and not unlike other atmospheric artists, embraces getting her hands messy.
“My work is not based on any place in particular. I simply enjoy picking up my knives and selecting my color pallet, then create from within.”
